John Esburnett takes over the reigns at Lee

John Esburnett has been named General Manager of Lee USA Speedway. John has been racing as long as he has been alive and to say Short Track Racing is in his blood is an understatement.

John’s father Skip was the Strictly Stock Champion at Hudson Speedway in 1999-2000 and retired in 2001 but John living only a mile from the track would ride his bike back and forth weekly to sit and watch from his front row seat.

In 2011 the former owner of Hudson Speedway put the mic in John’s hands at the age of 11 and he never looked back.

Ben Bosowski owner of Hudson Speedway and Lee USA Speedway said “John is an invaluable asset to short track racing and we are excited to see him grow in his new position “

John has worked at Hudson Speedway, Monadnock Speedway and Lee USA Speedway and also runs the New England Dwarf Car Series.

John was the recipient of the 2022 Fred Marshey Award. Please give John a warm welcome and we look forward to waving the green flag on the 2023 season.
